​ I am a local hobbyist who has been running reef tanks for almost 10 years and has had saltwater tanks since I was a teenager. For the past 8 years I have been running the Marine Aquarium Lab at a local middle school where the students learned first-hand about the nitrite cycle, water chemistry and the importance that estuaries, reefs, and biodiversity has on the world’s oceans. The students not only learn about a variety of marine life, but also observed and grew them for themselves. I have since built a marine system at home and have decided to make my corals available to fellow hobbyist in the Greater Vancouver area.
